History of Vibrational Healing

History of Vibrational Healing

Throughout history different peoples such as the Aztecs, Ancient Egyptians, Native Americans and Australian Aborigines have used forms of vibrational healing. Traditional Chinese and Japanese medical systems also view the life force as something that can be harnessed for healing.

Nowadays stress and ever-increasing exposure to man-made vibrations are primarily responsible for throwing our energy systems out of balance. The benefits of vibrational healing can be far-reaching.

As well as healing the body and helping to release deeply ingrained tensions, vibrational healing causes a profound revitalisation at all levels: mind, body and spirit. Every organ in our body carries a different vibration and our bodies have an overall vibrational signature that is unique to each of us.

Lemuria /  The Land of Mu

Humanity has evolved through many civilizations that once accepted as truth the spiritual knowledge spoken by the healers, priests, and physicians of their time. Many thousands of years ago, when humans existed on the continent known as the motherland of Lemuria or Mu, people were more directly linked with their higher spiritual selves.

Lemuria is said to have been in existence some 500,000 years ago and at a time in human history when the reincarnational cycle of dense physical forms had only recently begun. Lemuria’s ancient civilization existed prior to and during the time of Atlantis. Lemuria is said to be located in an area now covered by the Pacific Ocean.

At its peak of civilization, the Lemurian people were both highly evolved and very spiritual. The people could attune themselves to the Earth’s natural energies and they lived in harmony with nature, in particular they found ways to harness particular vibrations for healing.

The Land of LumeriaThey were also extremely psychic, and could see auras and the spiritual light around all living things quite easily. Information flowed from their Higher Selves into waking consciousness with great ease. Telepathic communication was commonplace.

Lemuria was reputedly like the Garden of Eden, a vibrant land where all kinds of exquisite flowering plants flourished. Flower essences were utilized primarily for psychic and spiritual development because there was little illness that required healing.

The Hawaiians, and especially the Kahuna priests with their knowledge of the lower, middle and higher selves appear to be descendents of this lost race of peoples. The Hawaiian Islands are said to be the peaks of the submerged mountains and lands of Lemuria which sank beneath the oceans waters many centuries ago.

Prior to the loss of Lemuria, many mirgrated to the land mass known as Atlantis, where one of the greatest civilizations of all time was evolving.

Plato's Atlantis

The story of the lost continent of Atlantis starts in 355 B.C. with the Greek philosopher Plato. Plato had planned to write a trilogy of books discussing the nature of man, the creation of the world, and the story of Atlantis, as well as other subjects.

Only the first book was ever completed. The second book was abandoned part way through, and the final book was never even started.

Atlantis city structureIn Plato's book, Timaeus, a character named Kritias tells an account of Atlantis that has been in his family for generations. According to the character, the story was originally told to his ancestor, Solon, by a priest during Solon's visit to Egypt.

There had been a powerful empire located to the west of the "Pillars of Hercules" (what we now call the Straight of Gibraltar) on an island in the Atlantic Ocean. The nation there had been established by Poseidon, the God of the Sea.

About 9000 years before the time of Plato, after the people of Atlantis became corrupt and greedy, the gods decided to destroy them. A violent earthquake shook the land, giant waves rolled over the shores, and the island sank into the sea, never to be seen again.

Mythical Atlantis

According to ancient myth, Lemuria gave way to Atlantis, a civilization which became far more technologically advanced than its predecessor. It has been suggested that vibrational healing has its true origins in Atlantean culture. Numerous flower essences, gem remedies and homeopathic remedies were developed to treat illnesses that emerged for the first time in Atlantis.

The Atlantean’s are particularly famed for their knowledge of the healing power of crystals. A number of crystalline devices were utilized in the diagnosis as well as the treatment of disease.

The Atlantean culture grew to become a pinnacle of civilization. Atlantean scientists where extremely skilled in the art of healing, the manipulation of the life-force itself. Like the Lemurians before them, the Atlanteans were also quite adept at psychic communication and perception.

Mythical AtlantisThey even developed their psychoenergetic technologies to the point where they were able to experimentally manipulate the genetic expression of lifeforms (cloning), somewhat like we are learning to do today.

As their power grew, people began to lose sight of their original harmony with nature and the spiritual dimensions of life. In the latter days of Atlantis, prior to its final destruction, evil and perversity grew to new levels and society separated into two large opposing factions.

Those of the more spiritual accord could see the end coming and prepared to carry away from the continent the best of its achievements in healing, philosophy, technology and following the Law of the One.

There were three major groups who carried the records and teachings to distant lands. The first of these groups went to the land of Egypt, with splinter groups going still further into Europe, Asia and places like Tibet. Another group travelled to the coast of Peru in what we now know as Central and South America.

Still a third group migrated to North America. Evidence can be seen in the symbols among the stone carvings of early South American Indians, the hieroglyphics of ancient Egyptians, and the works of Native American Indians.

Ancient Egypt

The power of Ancient Egyptian healer-physicians is legendary. There is little doubt that they knew of the therapeutic power of vibrational healing. To the Ancient Egyptians, everything was interlinked. Man was a microcosm of the universe, which was charged with subtle energy currents. Great emphasis was placed upon establishing a connection with the sun and stars. They regarded this link as fundamental to a sense of wellbeing.

Giza PyramidAll the temples in Ancient Egypt were aligned to particular stars and all the sacred buildings were of cosmic design. The pyramidal points were often capped with gold to reflect the sun’s rays across the land. It is said that great quartz crystals were placed on the top of certain pyramids, which scattered coloured rays in different directions.

There were healing temples of light and colour in Egypt as well as in early Greece, China and India. In Ancient Egypt there were various classes of healers. The most highly regarded medicine was temple medicine. Training was strict and secrecy was imposed to preserve knowledge.

Legend has it that there is a concentration of energy, rather like an electromagnetic sheath of light that encircles the world. This energy can be likened to the photon belt, a band of light energy particles discovered by scientists in 1961, in the vicinity of the Pleiades.

It is said that the photon belt is moving ever closer to our own solar system and that sometime between the year 2000 and 2012 the Earth is scheduled to slip into it. No one knows for sure what this event may bring.

Some predict that it will heighten the vibrations upon the planet, resulting in the dawn of super-consciousness, so bringing to pass the ancient prophesies of a golden age.

Many healers believe, therefore, that it is extremely important to enhance the vibrational patterns of the human body to enable us to cope with the changes this event will bring.
